YOU CAN have an meaningful life


We all come to this world with only an average of about 80 years to live. Given that life is so short, how then can we maximise our stay here and create a meaningful and fulfilling life?

The answer is simple. We need to set goals. While this seems straightforward enough, many people either do not set goals properly or do not have many goals. 

Before setting any goal, the most important goal to set first is actually your life goal or life purpose. If u set other goals before this, some of your smaller goals may actually go against your main life goal. To set your life goal, you have to think about what is the most important thing in your life. While many of you may think that money is the most important thing in life, I can assure you its not. Building good relationships and helping others are examples of things that are more meaningful and enjoyable as compared to wealth. Note that setting your life goal is extremely important as it will affect your entire life. Thus, it is important that you use wisdom to determine what is the most important thing in your life that you want to do or accomplish. 

Once you have set your life purpose, set goals in the reverse order basis from long term followed by short term and make sure all are aligned to your main purpose in life. When you do this, all the actions you take to achieve these goals will be meaningful to you and contribute to your life purpose in some way. By doing things that are aligned with your values and life purpose, you will feel a sense of fulfillment and accomplishment. 

Last but not least, make sure you set goals daily that is again aligned with your life purpose and take action every day. By doing these steps and taking action, you will feel fulfilled and purposeful every single day.
